Price data lags behind most September property transfers in Plainfield
Five property records were recorded in Plainfield between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only one included a sale price so far. That sale, at 39 Hawley St, closed for $60,000 on Sept. 15, sold by Jonathan W. Herbert and Suzanne E. Platanitis to Ronald and Hilary Weeks. The other four records have no price available yet, and two of them, at 296 Main St and 208 West Hill Rd, are declarations of homestead rather than sales. West Hill Road saw two separate filings this period. With pricing data covering just one of five records, the overall tone of the market for this period cannot yet be assessed from the available data.
