Plainfield home sale tops out at $440,000 as four of eight deeds disclose price
Eight property-related instruments were recorded in Plainfield between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12. Of those, four disclosed a sale price, ranging from $20,000 to $440,000 with a median of $25,000. The month's top transaction was the $440,000 sale of 234 South Central St. from Matthew Ingellis and Payton Atwell to April Joy Littlefield on Aug. 28. South Central Street saw three of the eight recordings, the most of any street. Three of the eight involved a bank as grantee and three were non-sale filings, including a homestead declaration and a sewage disposal notice, rather than conventional ownership transfers.
