Priciest August Sale on South Central Street Anchors Plainfield's Deed Activity
Plainfield recorded nine deeds between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5. Five disclosed a sale price, ranging from $20,000 to $440,000, with a median of $25,000; the other four did not disclose a price. The period's top sale was 234 South Central St. at $440,000, sold Aug. 28 by Matthew Ingellis and Payton Atwell to April Joy Littlefield. South Central Street accounted for three of the nine recorded transactions. Four records list a bank as grantee, and three others are non-sale filings (a homestead declaration, a trust certificate and a sewage-system notice) rather than owner-to-owner sales. The dataset is too limited to characterize the broader market tone.
