Plainfield sees six deed transactions in late July, but sale prices largely undisclosed
Six property transfers were recorded in Plainfield between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only two listed a sale price: $108,325 for 59 North St. and $60,000 for 87 South St., a median of $84,162 across the two. The other four transfers, at 58 River Rd., an unaddressed parcel, 0 East Main St. and 6 Upper Liberty St., did not disclose pricing. The North Street sale involved the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant Program and the town of Chesterfield as buyers. With two-thirds of recorded transfers lacking price data, and one record reflecting a homestead declaration rather than a sale, the available figures do not support a broader read on market conditions this period.
